Adoption Agreement

Please read the following questions carefully and answer yes or no.

Are you willing to leash-walk the hound at least four (4) times a day to perform necessary bodily functions?

Are you aware that greyhounds, galgos, and podencos are sighthounds and must be kept on a leash at all times, other than when in an enclosed/fenced area?

Do you agree to keep the hound as an indoor pet, understanding that it is not well-suited to living outdoors?

Are you willing to purchase a GPS collar (such as FiCollar or Tractive) AND an Airtag (or its equivalent) and keep that collar with a tag bearing your name, address, and phone number on your hound at all times?

Are you willing to bring your hound to the veterinarian once a year (or more often if necessary) for a check-up?

If for any reason you are unable to keep your hound, do you agree to return it to Grateful Greyhounds?

Have you ever completed an application to adopt a hound with any other rescue organization?
