Cesar

Cesar is a male galgo currently in Spain after being rescued by Galgos en Familia. Cesar is a middle aged dude whose DOB is June 10, 2016. Grateful Greyhounds always tries hard to help out the older hounds. Primarily, because they are usually the absolute best. But also, because they have earned their chance at the comforts of a loving home. I loved meeting Cesar, I found him to be super relaxed and chill. His foster mom works at the Vet Clinic so I got to see how awesome he was with new dogs of all sizes, he was uninterested in the dogs coming into the waiting room. Just a pleasure, quite frankly. Whoever adopts Cesar is getting an absolute gem of a dog.

Erin

Erin is a female, galgo mix. She is a bigger girl and really deserves a chance at a forever home. She was rescued by Casa de Postas and has been waiting for a family for over a year. Her DOB is January 8, 2021. When I first met Erin in July of 2024 she wopuld not approach me but stayed close by to watch and sniff the air to learn about us. In July of 2025 She approached us. We were greeted with tail wags at the gate but was a bit cautious once we were inside the gate. Once this girl is in a stable and calm home and adjusts to the routine and schedule, I know she will flourish. She gets along with all of the loose dogs at CdP without issue and regardless of size. Not sure about cats just yet but Angelica will be cat testing her. I would love to find Erin the forever home she deserves.

Ganimedes

Ganimedes is a joyful, fun loving male galgo in search of a forever home. He is from Spain, he has a passport ;). He is super sweet. Ganimedes was born Dec 1, 2023. He would love a home that would appreciate a handsome hunk like himself. Social with other dogs BUT no cats for this guy. Lets find Ganimedes a forever home.

Karim

Karim is a male Spanish Galgo, dob: May 2, 2021. He is social with dogs (big and small) and ok with cats too. Very sweet, social and so deserving of a forever home. Is that with you?

Sueno

This stunning male Spanish Galgo is in need of a forever home. He is young, bornJan 30, 2025 and has not had much luck since arriving in the US. Sueno is unsure and needs someone to rely on for consistency. He would benefit living in a suburb or rural area as the city noises have prov en to be too much for this guy. No cats. He can do well with other dogs, just have to do intros correctly and monitor while their relationship develops. In Spain he was housed with several other dogs without issue.

Caracola

Caracola is a gorgeous dark brindle female Spanish Galgo. Caracola has lived a bit of a tough life in Spain, used for hunting and breeding. Her dob: April 10, 2018. She is initially shy but warms up very quickly. She does very well with other dogs, she has not yet been tested with cats.

Brusa

Brusa, Caracola’s buddy, is fun, energetic and social. Brusa’s dob: January 23. 2023. She is the regular brindle in the videos. Brusa would love an active family that loves to go on pack-walks and walks in the neighborhood. She does well with other dogs but has not been tested with cats.

Joey

Joey is a handsome male galgo currently in Spain with Casa de Postas.  He is a reserved gentleman, calm and just a bit shy initially but warms up quickly.  Sadly, Koey was on his own for abit before CdP had room to take him in but now he is safe and doing well.  His DOB is Agust 6, 2023.  Joey is so gently and so deserving.   Jopey is coming to New Yorkk in September
